Welcome to the ninth big issue of Zimagal Monthly!
I have long been enamored of travel. When I have not been able to go off to exotic locales, I like to read about them. Recently, my Mother and I have been on a kick of reading the various Traveler's Tales Guides, published by Traveler's Tales, San Francisco. We both devoured the tales of France and Food and will soon start Hong Kong. Egypt and Tuscany are both fantasy itineraries for us as well.
In this issue I have gathered some travel stories from friends of mine. Kate tells us of the joys of Chicago, briefly her kinda town; Sam tells us of her recent Caribbean vacation; Stacey gives us us a little history on the city of New Orleans; and I relate some humorous anecdotes of my own.
In addition, we have our regular features. Thanks to Kara and Pasionara for their fine contributions, and also a big thanks to Christopher for the cover photo.
