Eating healthy doesn't have to be dull! Using fresh ingredients and perhaps a little imagination are all that are needed to create tasty low-fat meals.
On these pages, I have compiled a few of my favorite healthy recipes, along with a food tip here and there, plus links to health and diet sites I find useful.
Some people think that "diet" is "die" with a "t" on the end. Not necessarily so! "Diet" refers to one's eating habits. Unfortunately, most of us could use some improvement.
Simple adjustments in one's daily food patterns are usually all it takes to begin a proper "diet." Adding fresh fruits and vegetables and cutting down on fat is one way.
Play with herbs and spices, marinades and other means of adding flavor to food rather than relying on the old standby, butter. You might be surprised to find that you don't even miss it! Switching from 4% to 2% or even 1% milk is another change that might not cause you to miss the fat content. More tips.
