Little bits of trivia I picked up here and there...mostly there.

Bradyisms
"It turned out to be not that difficult of a catch... But I jumped up so I'd get a few extra cheers."
-- Brady Anderson, on his catch Wednesday 5/20/98

"I would stand in the middle of my weight room with a fire extinguisher. The antique furniture can burn, but I will stand in the middle of my gym until the very end."
--Brady Anderson, answering the question, what would you do if your house caught on fire?

"The ball that I caught in the top of the fifth that made Cal's 2130th game official...and my blender."
--Brady Anderson, on being asked about his prize possessions.

Nearly Useless Trivia Baltimore has played host to two All-Star games: the 25th was held at Memorial Stadium in 1958; the 64th was held at Oriole Park in 1993.

The Orioles have retired five jersey numbers: 4, 5, 20, 22, and 33.

People who own the Os: Peter Angelos is just the Managing Partner. Jim McKay, Barry Levinson, and Pam Shriver also own a piece of the pie.

The Scoreboard
The Sony JumboTRON video board measures 22'9" x 31'4" and is topped by an innovative incandescent lamp matrix game in progress board measuring 24' 1/2" x 78' 1/2", built by Daktronics, Inc. Mounted on top of the two boards is a large double-faced clock built by Triangle Signs, and two Oriole weathervanes.
