![]() Ever want a new nose? How about perkier breasts, less cellulite, poutier lips? All this and more can be yours for a few thousand dollars and a lot of bruises. And of course - plenty of invasive surgery. Cosmetic surgery ranges from the sublime to the ridiculous - from simple laser resurfacing to removal of ribs to produce an hourglass figure. Some examples of surgeries and their descriptions: face lift - removes excess fat and skin, tightens the underlying muscles, and redrapes the skin of the face and neck. tummy tuck - abdominoplasty removes excess skin and fat from the middle and lower abdomen and tightens the muscles of the abdominal wall. |

breast augmentation - augmentation mammoplasty enlarges the size and enhances the shape of a woman's breast.
breastlift - mastopexy raises and reshapes sagging breasts. liposuction - suction lipectomy removes unwanted fat deposits from specific areas of the body. rhinoplasty - rhinoplasty can change the size of the nose, change the angle between nose and upper lip, change the shape of the tip or the bridge, or narrow the width of the nostrils. eyelid surgery - blepharoplasty corrects loose skin, pouching, and sagging around the eyes and removes fatty deposits which cause puffy bags below the eyes.
Cindy Jackson, the human Barbie Doll, in before and after shots. She appears to be younger-looking, but is she more attractive? Not necessarily. She still has an underbite, and her roots are showing now. Cindy Jackson knows all about changing what God gave her. She is the woman who spent ten years and $100,000.00 on 20 surgeries (or $200,000.00 and 27 surgeries, depending on the account you read) to make herself look like Mattel's Barbie Doll. For the record, she has had jawline liposuction, four facelifts, two nose jobs, outer-thigh liposuction, silicone breast implants (later removed), two chemical face peels, fat transfer and dermabrasion, facial dermabrasion, liposuction on her inner thighs and hips, cosmetic dentistry twice, a chin reduction, a hair transplant to conceal scars and makeup tattooed on (eyebrows, eyeliner and lipstick). Some of her surgeries, such as sawing through her jawbone and resetting it with pins to make her chin less prominent, risked serious nerve damage. And to what end? Celebrity, albeit not earned for any good reason, and socializing. Real deep, huh? Must be nice to be so idly rich and have no other pursuits in life besides vanity. But all of us want to look good, no? If not for ourselves, then to please someone else (the wrong reason, but still a reason). Everyone is unhappy with some body part or another - for most women it's the thighs. Wouldn't lipsuction be a fabulous way to get rid of those saddlebags and cellulite? So it's painful, and causes some hideous bruises (and in some cases, death) - as they say, no pain, no gain! I have often wondered what it would be like to have different body parts - perhaps a different nose, different breasts. So I decided to find out. On the next page are photographs of me, before and after surgery. You will also find some other before and after photos of cosmetic surgery procedures. Please note: there is some nudity involved, so if that offends you, you have been forewarned. |
